Together with Obicua Architetti the 3rd place was achieved in the Human Tecnopole competition at the Milan EXPO area in 2019. It is a state-of-the-art human science centre with LEED Platinum status. With the focus on an energy efficient design, laboratories and a campus infrastructure with lots of light and air were impanted into two separate buildings. The two volumes are united by two horizontal, solar energy generating curtain wall facades and reflect the process of cell division, the design of the facade panels is based on the code of human DNA. Moreover, the functional interior of the building is fully automated to create a completely autonomous working environment.
