In the magazine EXKURS were published a selection of the elaborated places in Rome. eine Hommage; with the help of photography, individual-subjective cartography, drawings, text, elements and collages the magazine communicates the experiences and impressions of the excursions to the reader as vividly as possible. 

 

From April to October 2019, more than 15 of the 261 unconscious places were visited and finally 6 were published in an 88-page tabloid. It reports on socially external, subconscious places - always with the necessary portion of romanticism and fascination for the adventure in reportage. 

 

Under the leitmotif first impressions of earth, a journalistic, socially critical paper was published, which should bring the positive aspects of Roman porosity into the public perception. 

 

These places are transported and analysed in a curated format, they present a disorderliness in the conscious society, which is expressed in a feeling of individual and collective freedom. They are places in the city that can be and must be everything and/or nothing; they stand for adventure, curiosity, discovery, adrenaline, anarchy and a feeling of freedom and ultimately represent a new chance for the Roman social collective and its individuals.
